ICEM 2012 Welcome Reception, Guinness Storehouse

The ICEM 2012 Welcome Reception will take place in Ireland’s No.1 international visitor attraction, the Guinness Storehouse in St. James’s Gate Brewery and offers an informal and relaxed opportunity to delegates to kick start their ICEM 2012 experience by catching up with old friends and making new ones in the unique environs of the birthplace of Ireland's most famous export.
A successful Brewery since 1759, the Guinness Storehouse, located in the heart of Dublin, is an exciting, popular and unusual venue. ICEM 2012 Welcome Reception guests will be able to move throughout the entirety of this historic building. You can learn how to pull the classic pint of Guinness, experience 360 degree views of Dublin City, the Irish Sea and the Dublin Mountains from the famous Gravity Bar on the 7th floor, partake of the uniformly excellent Irish cuisine on offer and of course sample the world famous black stuff in its homeplace.
• One ticket for the Welcome Reception is included in your conference registration fee.
• One ticket for the Welcome Reception is also included in the Accompanying Person registration.
• If you require further Welcome Reception tickets, they are available for purchase at €60 per person.
• If you would like to purchase tickets for both the Welcome Reception in the Guinness Storehouse on the 26th June and the Gala Dinner in the CCD on the 29th June, we are offering a special combined rate of €160 for both events. Please note that this offer is only valid for additional guests who are not already registered as an Accompanying Person as a ticket to the Welcome Reception is already included in that Registration type.
The Welcome Reception is free for all registered delegates, however we would ask you to indicate whether you wish to attend through the online registration system. You can also purchase additional tickets for this event through the online Registration system.
For the Welcome Reception transfers to and from the conference venue and a number of city centre hotels will be provided.
ICEM 2012 Gala Dinner, The CCD

The ICEM 2012 Gala Dinner is the final evening opportunity to socialise and network with your international colleagues at the conference in Dublin and will take place in the Liffey Suite on Level 1 of the Convention Centre Dublin (the CCD), the main conference venue. The CCD is a landmark building designed by Pritzker award-winning Irish architect Kevin Roche. Gala Dinner guests will experience pre dinner drinks in the glass fronted foyer with panoramic views of the Irish sea and the Dublin mountains, followed by a three course meal and entertainment in the form of a party band and DJ into the wee small hours. The CCD holds an outstanding reputation for their hospitality and the excellent standard of entertainment provided is guaranteed to leave guests with fond and fun memories of their last evening in Ireland.
