The Irish Association for Emergency Medicine is proud to host the 14th International Conference on Emergency Medicine (ICEM) from 27th – 30th June 2012 in Dublin and looks forward to welcoming emergency medicine practitioners and stakeholders from all over the world to learn, debate, share knowledge, network and do business in Ireland’s convivial capital.
This is the first time ICEM will be held in Europe in a decade and offers a unique opportunity to engage with over 2,000 international delegates comprising of: Emergency Department Medical Directors; Emergency Physicians; Emergency Medical Services (EMS)/Pre-hospital Physicians; EMS Directors; International and Humanitarian Emergency Medicine Experts; Emergency Nurses; Nurse Practitioners; Emergency Medicine Residents/Trainees: Medical Officers; Medical Students; Physician & Medical Assistants; Hospital Administrators; EMTs/Paramedics; Disaster Planners/Managers; Emergency Department Managers and other healthcare providers engaged in the practice of emergency medicine.
The theme of ICEM 2012 is ‘Bridging the Gap between Evidence and Practice’. We have created an innovative academic programme which is based on the patient’s journey through the emergency care system and we aim to deliver up-to-date evidence-based reviews coupled with original research of high quality.
